I’ve finished my first three days as a film caterer and so far it’s been successful (I think). I’ve made a lot of sandwiches, biscuits and hummus which all seemed to go down well. The oatmeal, raisin and banana cookies were a hit (recipe and picture to follow) and I’m getting very good at hummus.
I’ve got 2 days off now, which is great because I’m knackered. I feel like I haven’t sat down in 3 days. This weekend I’m doing a couple of proper dinners for the cast and crew; pasta (Orzo) salad with roasted veg one day and then pasta with pesto, potatoes and green beans the other. It’s going to be a pasta based weekend, but hopefully no-one will mind and we are on a budget after all!
I’d love to post some photos but I’ve lent my camera to Jonic to get photos of the shoot so that’ll have to wait. Let’s hope it all carries on going so smoothly. You can read about the progress of the film on Miles’ blog.
